1. What this site is
detectigma.com presents the Detectigma mystery puzzle books, offers free online demo games, and hosts the community video wall.
This site sells nothing. There is no basket and no payment. Books are bought on Amazon: the contract is formed there, and Amazon’s own terms and policies apply to it. Amazon handles everything to do with ordering, delivery, payment and returns.
2. The content of this site
The text of the books, the puzzles, the demo games, the graphics, the logo and the text of the site are protected by copyright. You are free to read and play them for your own personal use. Copying, republishing, distributing or using them commercially requires prior written permission.
3. Submitting a video – what you confirm
When you submit a video, you confirm that:
- the video is your own work, or you have the right to submit it,
- it contains nothing that infringes anyone else’s rights,
- it contains no hateful, violent, adult or unlawful content,
- you are 16 or older, or your parent or guardian has agreed.
4. Submitting a video – what you allow
By submitting, you grant a free, non-exclusive permission for the video to be embedded and displayed on detectigma.com, together with the name or nickname you entered.
- Non-exclusive: the video remains yours, and you can use it anywhere.
- The video stays on YouTube or TikTok throughout; it is only embedded.
- You are not paid for it, and I do not exploit it commercially.
- You can withdraw this at any time: write to info@detectigma.com and I will take the video down.
5. Moderation
Every submission is reviewed by hand. I am not obliged to publish a video, and I may reject it without giving a reason, or take it down at any time, if it does not fit the site or if section 3 is not met.
Submissions that are not published are deleted automatically after 30 days.
6. The demo games
The demo games are free, are there for entertainment, and are provided as is. I do my best to keep them working correctly, but I cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.
7. External links
This site links to Amazon, YouTube and TikTok. Those are other companies’ sites: I am not responsible for their content or their operation, and their own terms apply to them.
8. Liability
You use this site at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I exclude liability for indirect damage arising from the use of this site. This does not affect any rights that the law grants you and that cannot be excluded.
9. Changes and applicable law
I may amend these terms from time to time; the version in force is always the one published here, with the date shown above. These terms are governed by Hungarian law.
